Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. Psalm 145:3

The Lord, as always, has been good to us. It seems that his goodness is more clearly seen in the midst of dark and trying times. Since our last newsletter, my wife, Beth, received steroid injections in her sacroiliac joints, which connect the spine to the hips. The shots had a great effect on relieving the inflamation in that area. We thought that our trial was coming to an end, BUT the Lord had more for us to learn. Just prior to her treatment, she noticed a hard spot on her flesh in the leg area. We thought that she has possibly been bitten by a spider. Within a few days, the mass grew and began to kill tissue. To make a long story short, she acqired the staph infection called MRSA and was hospitaled for four days. After having the dead tissue surgically removed, massive antibiotics were administered and she slowly recovered. Just last week she was released from the visiting nurseÕs care.
